Consumed by Chaos is more than a painting—it is a release. The figure’s face is hauntingly serene, yet it is being swallowed by torrents of chaotic black and teal paint, dripping and erupting across the composition like emotional static. Eyes obscured, hair dissolving into streaks and splatters, the subject is neither fully present nor fully gone—she exists in the tension between unraveling and awakening.

Fine splatters and jagged ink lines cut across the canvas, mimicking the disarray of intrusive thoughts or energetic overload. There’s a push and pull between control and release, silence and storm. Painted in a limited monochrome palette with slashes of dark teal, the simplicity in color enhances the depth of feeling.

"This piece poured out of me during a time I couldn't articulate what I was feeling. It became the turning point in my creative journey—a moment when I stopped painting what I thought people wanted to see and started expressing what I needed to feel. Consumed by Chaos is a reflection of that first surrender to the unknown. It's messy, vulnerable, and entirely honest. It gave me permission to stop hiding."
