“Amatory" - Original Painting (2024)

Original Acrylic & Ink by Jen Duran

Description:

Amatory explores attraction, emotion, and the unspoken language of desire. Bold lips emerge through expressive layers of saturated color, fluid ink, and abstract marks—somewhere between softness and intensity.

This piece is a reimagining of an original Amatory I painted years ago. Returning to the composition with years of growth and experience behind me allowed me to revisit an earlier part of my artistic journey through the artist I am today. Similar in spirit, yet entirely its own, this new Amatory reflects both where my work began and how it has evolved.
